The latest iPad3 rumors revealed that Apple will be announcing the iPad 3 on March 7, 2012 during a special media event, which is being expected to be at Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco.

According to sources Apple will hold their iPad 3 announcement on the said date. As noted in the report, iPad 3 will have a 2048×1536 Retina display, will feature a quad-core Apple A6 system-on-a-chip, and possibly to support 4G LTE networking, which is notably a mystery for the upcoming iPad.

Apple will release iPad 3 in the first week of March, wherein this coming March 7 falls on the first Wednesday of the month and Wednesday is the usual day for Apple to hold an event.

Meanwhile, iLounge has previously reported that the iPad 3 will have better cameras, including an HD FaceTime camera in front and an 8MP sensor at the back.

Apparently, 9 To 5 Mac later noted that iMore also provided “correct details” on iPhone 4S launch and feature information; and Apple introduced both the first iPad and iPad 2 at the Yerba Buena Center.
